The History of the SkullCock™ This new product was invented by Woody, the first Mayor of Skull City, who was
riding in the mountains one cool Colorado day. As his Springer was running out of gas, he
noticed he had an 18-wheeler in the rear view mirror, and in the panic, with thick riding
gloves, could not get the petcock lever into the reserve position quick enough. Well, he
and Nancy didn't become a Peterbilt hood ornament, but they
did come up with a handsome solution to the problem. The SkullCock™ offers a nice
handle to grab on to when you need to turn the fuel on, or you have to go to reserve in a
hurry. It also makes it easier to see what position the lever is in when you walk up to
your bike.

Lever Covers Fits 6000 Series Pingel® By customer demand, the world-famous SkullCock™ has been adapted to fit the 6000 series Pingel® petcock. This
version is the one that has the fuel outlet directly across from the reserve position, see
diagram. The 6000 series has the fuel outlet facing either out or down; in fact, it is the
only model that has the outlet pointing down. The SkullCock™ is
basically the same skull originally fitting the stock OEM petcock on Harleys® 1975-2001. Like the original product, it also
helps the rider locate and move the petcock lever to the right position in a hurry.
